Speakers

With Design Mode active, Speakers are dragged from the left hand modal toolbox into System Groups or directly into the Workspace. Each speaker brought into the Performance Workspace is meant to represent a real speaker in an audio system that needs to be controlled and monitored by the application. As Users progress through the software, various controls and information will be superimposed over the individual speakers in the Workspace representative of a specific work flow task which is defined by the active System View. A list of all Speakers currently supported by Performance can be found HERE.

Speaker Types

Two speaker types exist within the Performance application.

• Full range speakers

• Subwoofers

 

Adding Speakers to the Workspace

Speakers are dragged from the left hand Modal Toolbox into the workspace. Speakers can be added directly to the workspace or dragged into empty System Groups .

The quantity box next to the System Groups and Speakers sets the quantity of the selected item that will be added to the workspace after being dragged in.
